+1 about Ligget

Tour wise (stage race this is his biggest in the US). He has won the Tour of Georgia and a few classics but really he doesn't have any huge wins but I don't think you can really categorize a Pro Continental race big. ;)

Horner won Pais Vasco last year. That's a big win.

Not sure if you knew that or not

Oooooeerrrr, another crit.
What times' 60 minutes on?

Smithy: What have BMC done in this race? Nothing.
Well, having said that, this weeks big losers are.................Saxo.

Yeah, right.

*BMC basher alert* - Morabito's 5th yesterday beating some formidable copmetition was impressive. I do agree they don't have a big leader here so look a little lost but it hasn't beeen that bad.

Interesting, they just found out that it's very unlikely that this Djan'Gh'Lii guy is getting robbed, shot or raped while riding his bike.

To be fair, Hitch was quoting the commentator.

And let's be fair, Morabito has compiled some pretty decent results but he's a guy who usually flies under the radar. Manages to get some decent results without ever threatening to win much, and as such he is all too often forgotten about in instances like this.

Blabla ACF morabito. He was still beaten by Laurens ten ****ing Dam, who at best manages a top 25 in a GT... so ****ing stop hyping Morabito.

I've got to say... last year's Thousand Oaks stage was much, much better.

This is the only stage that has been outshone by last year's equivalent. And yes, it's very difficult to feel really drawn in after today's Giro exploits.
