Looks like the best known TTers missed out. The TT is not that long, so Bennati should do pretty well. The next two stages look pretty good for Breschel, so even if he's not a great TTer, he's in with a good shot here.

The stage finish wasnt a normal bunch sprint, it was uphill and Sagan attacked in the final 800 or so meters . Also Nibali pulled on the mountain before the finish so everyone had to work extremely hard to stay in touch with the peloton, great teamplay by Liquigas.

not yet, the DR1 stream was all over the shop tonight, website kept saying video not available, then was available breifly, then went again. The recording i got was a mess. Fresh one from news site on its way up. Been a headache.

To be honest, im not that much the wiser for seeing the highlights, except to say it was bloody windy, and there was some really strange music on the course.

the long interview with Matti Breschel and the insight into Team Rabobank afterwards seemed to bei quite interesting but unfortunately there are no subtitles available and only few parts were in english.

but otherwise I totally agree - I hoped they'd show the last kilometres and not just a few seconds of the sprint, but possibly they just had no camera(bikes) around (or in other words not enough footage)

Hmm, this could be interesting. The road through the forest, on Ørneredevej and partly on Strandvejen has some rather steep hills. (If I recall correctly, been quite a while since I've been through there in a car. The biking lane isn't completely parallel to the car lane, I think the biking lane is a little flatter, but I don't assume they'll send the riders onto the biking lane!
Also when they enter the circuit the first time it seems like they'll have to take a rather sharp bend to get up Oddervej. From what I can figure out from looking at the last part of the route in the newspaper...

(I'll clearly never do a bike-race analysis in my life... )
