Certainly not. It's just that it's so short that guys you'd normally not consider "hilly riders" can keep up, and stay in overall contention until the ITT. I'm thinking Bennati (although he's way more than a sprinter), Mørkøv (not the next Gilbert either) or even Modolo (still in the top-10 before the ITT). That might make it look "easy" to people who don't know the route.
I would give a lot to see Gilbert and Sagan race next year (and the race being televised), so people can see how hard it actually is.
But I would also give a lot for making the race 1-2 days longer, and incorporate some Herning gravel roads, a stage in Odsherred or (my favourite) a stage finish in Flensburg (Toosbüystraße, 500 m at 6% or Harrisleer Straße, 1300 m at 4%).
Very well done by Gerrans, a good winner for this race. In my opinion one of the better editions in recent years.
