Long way to go...

DQS are now drilling the cobbles in Møgeltønder, and the advantage is now 45 seconds, but there will probably be some kind of regrouping soon. Trek, DSM, Lotto, Riwal and ColoQuick are also working, so it won't be too easy for the dropped riders to make it back right now.

The gap's a minute now with Rally working hard in group 2. Riwal and Lotto are trying to disrupt the chase.

And to think that the crops on some of the field would provide less shelter in July than here in August, it's such a missed opportunity that the Tour won't pass by Vadehavet next year.

It took 45 km, but the two groups have now merged. 5 riders now have a small gap with 93 km to go.

The camerawork is even worse than the commentating of Liniger. While it's fun to see the race with friends when it passes by where you live, everything about the race is amateur-hour and it should have been demoted to .1 a long time ago. It is probably the worst .HC/.PS race there is.

Blame the Belgians for the camera work.

Well unlike in Germany it is tradition to have a flagpole in your garden. And every church will have one, too.

And some towns have a flag avenue with flagspoles on both sides of a main road, which will be put up on special occasions.
Some places those flags are raised every day.

I wonder, if this will be between Groenewegen, Cav and Nizzolo again, or if someone else might have a chance. Pedersen would obviously love to win, though he definitely desires Friday's stage more than this one.

The organizers of the Tour de France think the road at Dybbøl is too narrow for a sprint here. So they placed the finish line in a boring industrial area of the town instead. I’m not yet convinced about that decision.
