Tour of Oman used to 6 stages , this year its 5 stages with the one day race the day before. Just for fun I guess .

I doubt it, there is still a brutal 1km @ 9% climb just before the finish.

I know it's the climb they just did. 30km/u headwind on it.
They're riding like 20km/h right now. Apart from Bora for 5 minutes noone is making this hard.

Good to see that Arkea finally rides for someone in the end instead of trying to sprint with 7 guys.

Great to see Biermans finally breaking through. He was a really good u23 rider but had a lot of bad luck with the pros.

Jordi Warlop 2nd place. Isn't even a pro technically, as he rides for the QS conti team. One of the riders that got f*cked over by B&B. This is great to see.

I'm no really sure what Quickstep is doing in that final. Fausto, Mauri were both strong and it looked like Hirt was up there as well but they rode with no cohesion. They didn't do anything to help Warlop in the last 2km either ( I guess they don't know his qualities as a development rider)
