their current team would find their foundation gone if Luxembourg doesn't produce a new star in the meantime.
I'm not so sure about that - take Astana for an example. They continued on even without Vino and Kasheshkin because they had a lot of money (like LEOPARD TREK) and could afford to keep Contador. I remember people on this forum would jokingly refer to "the one token kazakh rider" they took to the Tour de France. And now they have Kreuziger so the post-Vino era is already taken care of. For me, that is an example of a "national" team which continues on despite currently lacking a national leader. I consider this a good thing, because the sole existence of Team Astana is good for kazakh cycling. I could see the same thing happening with this team (i.e. have a "foreign" leader and bring 1 token luxembourgian rider), but of course it's way too early to speculate on that.
On a different note, Luxembourg currently has the the junior ITT world champion Bob "BeeJay" Jungels. Again, it is of course too early to say whether he'll ever develop into a world-class rider, but the prospects are certainly rather promising.

Radioshack was founded only due to Sir Lance-a-Lots personal contacts
I wonder whether LEOPARD TREK and Radioshack will merge à la Garmin-Cervélo at the end of the season, exactly due to the personal contacts of Lance. I doubt the company Radioshack will continue their sponsorship, but in my opinion it would be a good thing for LEOPARD TREK, as it was also a very good thing for Garmin.
