I am quite happy with Sagan loosing the sprints here. :) Let them think you do not have it anymore and wait for M-SR. I am sure Riis knows how to make him winning big ones.

Majstrovstva Slovenskej republiky :D

Wow! Just checked the results but haven't seen the race yet. How did Fabian and Wiggo mangage to come in 9 minutes down? Just not trying once they initially got distanced?

Wiggins is only here to show off the worlds Jersey, the only races where we will see him try are the TT's and PR.

Ya. I was more surprised by Fabian. His team said that their main goal was to have him not lose time so he could go into the TT and do well overall. And even in Wiggo's case. Surely he will want to be competitive some before PR....or is he only going to try very hard during training...doesn't make sense. But Wiggo often doesn't make sense. :D

Kristoff impressive as always. 300 m sprint from the front and nobody stood a chance.
Sagan again boxed in. He was pretty fast at the end. I think he might have been second if he was in a decent position.

Sagan has finished 4th for 2 days in a row. He's the new Rojas. :p

Versatile sprinters will be right up there.

I hope Stannard can do something very special.

This doesn't seem that technical to me. 8 turns, two 180 degrees. This should be a big engine time trial. Agree with Hugo on the favorites, i'll add Boom though. Sagan should do well, but Terpstra is still the GC favorite.

Boom finished last yesterday, almost 24 minutes behind the leaders. Either he's sick or he's saving himself to try and salvage his Qatar by winning today. Usually he should be one of the favorites here, but I'm not sure he will do that well honestly.

Could be smart. Wind usually picks up during the day, so starting first today could be beneficial.

They have had to amend the running order quite a bit due to cars (lack of) I expect. For example, Etixx-Quick Step has a lot of riders near the top but they have had to space them back down the order considerably.

I wouldn't take any notice of where riders are finishing each day in this race as a basis to decide who's got the legs or not, are ill etc for todays TT. This race is all about elastic snapping into echelons. Not everyone going for GC can fit into that first echelon every single day, so once it escapes you, that's your GC over really as we see with Wiggins, Boom, Cancellera etc etc.
I would like to see Guardini do well today though. I have no idea how well he does in the shorted TTs though.
