Does anyone know anything about how this break formed? Just wind creating echelons and splits or an attack?

A Boonen, Steegmans, Haussler podium (with Vansummeren in 4th) will make my CQ team VERY happy.

Shame Boom wasn't able to stay with the leaders, but that would've been too much to hope for, I guess.

Nope, what you have to understand about Qatar is that with a population of 1.5 million up to 75% are migrant workers from Africa and the Sub Continent, hence no one with spare time to go watch cycling.
