Quick Diego.
The teamwork helped.
Good racing again, but the TV production was messy.

Yes, the coverage completely missed the chase group's finish . . . couldn't see who took 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc., or what the time gaps were.
It happens in live production.

Can Ulissi hang on over the big climb? I mean his form is great, today was 5 km @ 9%, tomorrow will be 9 km @ 8%. I think his advantage is enough that he can do it, especially since Chaves is a bit banged up and Pogacar and Polanc are both on his team.

Unless he cracks badly, I can't see Ulissi losing this. UAE is by far the strongest team here. Even in case he loses some time on the climb (which doesn't seem likely), Polanc and Pogacar will work hard on the descent to bring him back.

Ullisi is no certainty to hold on with the long climb tomorrow - It's a flawed course when every finish with a mountain top near the finish has a descent and flat finish.

1-2 over the top of the last climb finished 1-2 in the stage

Except this didn't happen in stage 2 - Try again.

I could be wrong, but it sure looked - from what I caught of the quick route run-through - like they're heading into the ocean...

They must've been needing boots.

Only four guys left at the front. And this guy is waiting for them at the finish too: :)

I'm impressed by this Vlasov guy, his climbing is pretty strong. Hopefully he doesn't get nicked by Ineos.
