Yeah, him being only 19 it's always fun to follow how young riders develop. Hopefully it'll be an upward trajectory for Omrzel!Omerzel looked good. Let's see what he's got in the bag for the future.
Anders is rid of the pain that he's been suffering with the past 2 seasons or so, so he should pretty much be better than ever now.Are we sure the twins haven't secretly been swapped for this race? Uncharacteristically strong performance by Anders here.

Completely unrelated and from the left field and going back to my new fave Slovenian word Volovljek, turns out it translates into ox mountain (vol means ox). Wiki says there's a prevalence of surnames and geographical names in Slovenia that are derived from words related to oxen, highlighting their significance in the region's history and culture.

He has not a decent sprint. He is not slow, but not capable to win sprints from 10-15 men group. He is good at hilly and MM terrains, but making gains in high mountains as well. Tsarenko is progressing every year.Tzarenko is a capable rouleur with a decent sprint, but his climbing is indeed surprising. That said, having another strong rouleur who is a capable climber with him (Zoccarato) probably helped a bit, since they both arrived before the gc group.
