And Tesfatsion, for that matter. Very odd sprint.First pro win, nice way to do that.

Porte is the favourite for the Giro, dissent will not be tolerated.
Have they cut out two weeks?

How is Wobbly Richie going to survive when Pello the Powerful unleashes haymakers on every descent.
That's a very good question but hardly has to do with it being a 3-week rather than a 1-week race.
Traeen over 10 minutes down, was expecting a lot more after how good he was in Catalunya.
Yeah, but the descents in the Giro are sometimes rather technical, not great for him. That's a very good question but hardly has to do with it being a 3-week rather than a 1-week race.

I expect Richie to be a climbing superdomestique for señor Richard.
It only took a global pandemic to stop him from overracing during the spring to get him a Tour podium.I certainly don't think Richie Porte will win the Giro, either...
It's just not true that he cannot ride well for three weeks.
Now you're making me extra salty Contador only "thought about" doing a comebackIt only took a global pandemic to stop him from overracing during the spring to get him a Tour podium.![]()

Over racing was not the issue, he missed out on a podium in 2016-2018 due punctures/crashes.
Froome was the second better of the team..I don't know what happened to the team...Nizzolo was with the best at the end..but De Marchi didn't finish..so maybe both things explain why people as Piccoli, Hagen or Goldstain, better than Nizzolo for these climbs lose so much time...Maybe helping one to pass well these climbs or helping De Marchi to finish the stage...Froome was better than them..and he was working for sure..(I think the rest as well)...So not a day to take any conclusion...and in any case, not too bad been second of the team.Crazy to think this was Bouchard's first pro win. It would have been sad if he was caught in the end.
Uijtdebroeks finishing in the first peloton (behind the little break though). Looking forward to what he can do here.
Big dawg making steady improvement. Only 7 minutes down. By 2028 he's back in contention for victory in the TdF.

Froome is escalating his preparation in order to peak at the right time. The third week of the Tour. Everything going according to plan.
Yeah, back then Flavio raced for the Brazilian NT that was invited and mainly consisted of Funvic guys.nice memory!! more known as "baiano" around here who was in team Funvic that back then was a
embarrassment..
Vini represents the "new generation" and finally got his season going after documents problems, logistical problems, even with the bio-passport that he didnt have..
he must be really anxious and the Brazilian social media army is already echoing even now back in the peloton..
Vini was just behind Girmay last year worlds but got boxed in his sprint.. by then he was already mentored by Sebastian Unzue.. he's sharing an apartment with Nico Sessler(Global-PCT), whom last roomate with Higuita Monster, and learning fast..Yeah, back then Flavio raced for the Brazilian NT that was invited and mainly consisted of Funvic guys.
I have high expectations for Rangel, he had really good results in the Spanish u23 races and finished 9th in the u23 WC, so he has already proven that he's good outside his homecountry. The other young rider from Brazil who I'd give a chance (probably at PCT level) is the strong TTer and rouleur Joao Pedro Rossi.
