No competition in a sprint of the elites for Bilbao in this field. Will be hard to get rid of him in a race full of descent finishes.

Super sprinter Romain Bardet

I am reposting this new article from his thread.
Romain’s road: Romain Bardet profile

"Can change be a good thing? Romain Bardet leans back in his rickety, village hall-style metal chair, his face brushed by the autumn sun while he muses over the question.
His lips purse as he takes a small sip of pale ale. Before it returns to the ‘Drink Responsibly’ beer mat resting on the table, he offers his reply."

Bilbao cannot climb well enough to be a realistic contender for the Giro, there are some incredibly hard summit finishes where there will be no descent to save him. I doubt he even finishes top 5.

This Giro doesn't have so many hard MTFs, I can see him in the top5 if he doesn't need to work that much for Landa

Landa is going to do Giro- Tour, So is still taking easy..with this parcours, here the leader is Peio...But in the big mountains of the Giro, Landa is another level.
He is doing nicely, under the radar. I don't want to hyped Landa too much. In the past years I hyped him a lot, because he is one of my favourite riders. But this year let's just see.

Wait... if you don't want to hype riders you like, does that mean you dislike Masnada?
