That link says he lost no time

Unless I'm reading it incorrectly, they've got him losing 1'28. Along with Dan Martin, Danielson, Monfort, Gerrans, Peraud, Mollema, and a number of others.

Novikov over 12 minutes down. What's happened to him this year?

Novikov was sick earlier this year, but not too long ago the Vacansoleil site said he was feeling well again.....

they didn't lose any time

What do you think that rolleyes emoticon means?

Either you misunderstand it, or you're unnecessarily dickish in just about all your replies.

It's not entirely consistent because for the main peloton they've used "MT" whereas for the later groups they've quoted the time lapsed for each rider but I think it probably means there was a crash somewhere. It's clearer on the GC

It's got to be a crash. Fewer moto cams, so we're not going to see it? Remeber this race almost didn't happen because of lack of sponsorship.

Yeah, my mistake.

Well, that was as underwhelming as expected. Probably more of the same tomorrow (hopefully somebody can attack on the last climb, but it's not a very challenging one).

Le sigh. Rojas can probably win three stages in this - today, tomorrow and Friday. We'll get some fireworks on Arrate and for the last 2km of Ibardin (people are going to need to attack, otherwise it's all down to the TT).

Brajkovic wrote on twitter that he crashed hard with 2km to go.

lol poor Janez. Everytime he crashes no one notices, and he has to point it out himself. I remember the Dauphine tt he won where he no one had any clue that he had actually crashed bad half way through and still managed to win.

Usual situation for talented young russians. Good in amateur races and really bad in big teams and pro races. Only in last 5 years- M.Ignatiev, Kolesnikov, Khatuntsev, Trusov, Rovny, Silin... Kritskiy has too much injuries.
