What do you think that rolleyes emoticon means?

Either you misunderstand it, or you're unnecessarily dickish in just about all your replies.

it's a sarcastic smiley that implies my annoyance by the ignorance in your post. my bad but stupidity, online especially, is something I don't get used to. I'm sorry

Usual situation for talented young russians. Good in amateur races and really bad in big teams and pro races. Only in last 5 years- M.Ignatiev, Kolesnikov, Khatuntsev, Trusov, Rovny, Silin... Kritskiy has too much injuries.

although they can't be compared completely to novikov(no track). it's typical east-european school of riding extremely heavy gears which injures most riders up to a point where their style isn't effective anymore and they become less and less strong. ignatiev is a perfect example of that but also german riders like fothen or dutch like weening. very few riders have the sheer power and brutality to hold that till the end of their careers. guys like botero, vino, ullrich are rare

Not sure how I feel about that. While AGR is not the one that suits him best, it's not like he couldn't get a result there, is it?

he sucks in placing himself so it would be a waste for him. it's like with uran who also doesn't like agr

I don't know what's that weird with these results. This is what Pais Vasco sprints always look like.

Yeah sort of true, but even if I had to make a top ten out of that group of riders in a sprint it would be quite different. I'm just wrong, I suppose.

People who lost a minute plus today:

Gerrans, Albasini, Mollema, Monfort, Navarro, Peraud, Noncentini, Dan Martin, Danielson, Brajkovic, Vanendert, Gadret, De La Fuente, Kloeden, Cummings

Tough stage I guess. can't believe they're all indifferent to the GC. If Poels is that good ATM he could easily be the man for the GC.

it's very simple. all riders ate 3:15 have 3:15 after their name. all riders with 0 after their name have lost 0 seconds.

Silly to skip Amstel Gold Race, but Fleche should suit him better because they really don't race there until the final km and it's shorter as well.

But things can improve quicky... Sagan had crappy results in the long races as well last year and look at him now. :)

Psst...Don't tell The Hog, but Horner was right behind Luqui's Damino Caruso in that up-front crash on yesterday's final climb. Caruso went down, not Horner and not a single teammate in sight.

The Hog's been trolling this thing about...Cancellara not have a proper team to protect him and such. I guess he expects an armoured detail. So don't tell him, cause he'd just have a fit about it as being another example of a unprotected rider on RSN.

Man, if Horner went down we'd all be in real trouble.;)

I guess you're right. I might be getting too caught up in the ''Gesink performing better than expected'' situation. It might be better than expected but still not quite at the level he usually is, especially climbing-wise.

gesink wont feature at ardennes, this first part of the season I expect nothing but mediocrity. On the bright side, these decent amount fo race time should bode better for his latter season and overall recovery. Still I bet he fails bad at tour.

Rojas just won a race, and you don't know what's weird about it? ;)

And there were actual sprinters in this race, but apart from Rojas none of them made it to the front.

In chaos caused by the lack of strong sprinting trains, the difference between the likes of Appollonio and Hesjedal fades and even Rojas can win a race :)
