Training or Cycling in South America

I will be in South America for 4 weeks and would like to join a training road cycling camp or do some Mtn biking in that order of preference.

I will be in Argentina and Chile until Mid Nov.

Does anyone have any advice or pointers please?

A woman from Venezuela on our Sunday group rides said an armed guard is handy. According to her anything worth stealing can cost your life so she never had a good bike until she moved here. Not Argentina or Chile either. Probably not the message you are looking for.
