a new Belgian super squad is in the making ... after various rumours that Coucke (Omega Pharma) & Lotto don't see eye to eye any more on what the course of the current team should be (Omega: a more European focus / Lotto: a strong pure Belgian orientation) De Morgen now comes with a story of Lotto willing to team up with Belgacom (a big name with a lot of financial backing) & Adecco, with whom they already formed a team in '00, '01 & '02 ...

even the Belgian government is backing up this route ....

let's wait & see

(Coucke to team up with Bakala next year has been mentioned several times before as well)

As of next year, Wilco Kelderman will ride for the Rabo pro team. An unusually early signing, probably indicative of the guy's talent.

Ooh great, Team Sky can get another good TTer who can climb just well enough to think about doing a top 10 at the Tour, but they will likely have to wheelsuck and have the team contribute to preventing any racing before the final few km to do so. How many of those guys would they have then? 4?

That's par of the course for Amore & Vita.

Is it still the Pope's team?

Nah. Menchov is at Geox.

Big news with Ricco. Its still unlikely that he will ever come back to the top but that would be one unlikely comeback.

Since when have Amore e Vita been known to sign dopers? I can't find a single example in the past 10 years, at least not any dopers I know about. Are you sure you're not confusing them with some of the other small italian teams?

Not dopers per se, but you know, they have the whole "saving the sinners" vibe. They signed Manzano after all.

Ya, I guess that might be true considering Chad Gerlach as well. Though they have had a very strict anti-doping stance so this would be a clear departure for them.

he's fool if he's going there.i admit i won't like to see him back because he will put himself again in danger.only if he finds someone from this pro cycling world to take care of him.otherwise no.
