I'm glad Roberts has found a team. Was hoping he would after all his efforts to get noticed at TDU.

Also he has done pretty well on the italian amateurscene last season. Finishing for instance 3. in the tough Pesche Nettarine Di Romagna behind strong climbers Fedi and Bongiorno and before very strong riders like Monsalve, S. Locatelli, Arredondo and A. Santoro for instance. Not the biggest talent in the world but definetly seems as an interesting talent for the stageraces

I like how the headline calls Furlan a supersprinter. How many races did he win after the 2002 Vuelta?

Maybe they mean he will be a supersprinter compared to the opposition. Team Christina Watches haven't exactly received that many invitation. :D

Well.... they've got an invitation to the Vuelta a Mexico but had to reject because it clashed with the Post Cup in Køge. The chairman of DCU said that Team Christina Watches - Onfone could particapate in Tour of Denmark (the biggest race they can enter this year) but only if they perform better than Team Energi Fyn in the Post Cups during the season. They have to focus on them, so they will be racing a lot in Danish races.

Good news. Let's see what Tintin can still do at his age.

nah i don't know.there were rumours he had talks with some big teams.personally i want to see rebellin at astana or geox(unfortunately lampre is out of the equation).we need people that can stop gilbert in 2012.

The idea that Rebellin could beat Gilbert is ridiculous. He doesn't even have a team right now, and he'll need a whole season to get in shape (see how well Di Luca is performing). That means he'll be 41 or 42. If you really want to see Rebellin back, you should settle for Andalucia (although it's the worst-managed Pro Conti team out there) because there's no way he's coming back at the top.

andalucia is the worst team he could ride for. they don't ride any classics, not even italian ones

Some other rumors from RAI.

Gilbert has his contract expiring at the end of the year and he is in talk with many teams also from Italy (like Geox) but on the top of the list for the moment there could be Astana.
It seems his actual team have some "sponsor fighting", between Omega Pharma and Lotto so probably he will wait for it first.

Cancellara started searching for some gregarios for 2012 cobbled classics; it seems he spoke to Ballan and Oss but they are both under contract so he might get some belgians instead (not mentioned any name).
