Didn't he say he wasn't going to rejoin Miche cos he could sign elsewhere and get a better race program?

and then someone will reply me that in fact they will do denmark tour or something...
and schumi looked so good in tour de san luis....:(

afraid so. The Volta is later this year, which is good in some ways (picks up some of those other Spanish continental teams that normally can't ride cos they're in Burgos, and also the Italian ProConti teams that do it) and bad in others (overlap with the Vuelta will hurt the startlist since no Lampre or Xaco/Andalucía/Caja Rural guys using it as Vuelta prep this time).

I thought that meant CWO could do Denmark (which is obviously a big deal for them) and Portugal, but because of the Olympics, Denmark's moved to the end of August too.

With the signing of Frei, however, this puts the CWO roster to 16... if EVERYBODY is fit, they could send 8 to each (although the Volta typically has 9 man teams). Don't think they can take any more on without some shuffling about due to team regulations.

Christina Watches confirms the signing of Thomas Frei

I wouldn´t have expected him to find a team at all.

Besides Trentino 2010, he didn´t show results, and most who get caught before showing at least good results (Top20 placings in WT races), won´t come back.

Glad for him, anyways. If Valverde comes back, a Frei deserves this as well. At least he´s not the usual hypocrite.

So now we know something about his capabilities. If he becomes world class, he´s on hot sauce, if not, be probably remains clean.

the guy is a freak and he knows nothing else than race a bike for winning races.i respect that but yeah it's kind of depressing stuff.

100% agree.

Rebellin is professional and passionate like NO ONE else. He showed the professionality e.g. Sky shows today, already 10 years ago.

Ullrich says cycling is his biggest love, but chooses to count his money instead of returning to riding pro races, Rebellin shuts up and returns. That´s the difference.

Chapeau, Rebellin. He could likely be the next Kirsipuu, riding CT ranks till 45...

It seems Guerciotti signed a deal with Meridiana team which probably means they are paying his salary.
