That's really shocking. Didn't excpect that. Who will it be?
Telekom that would be nice woudn't it:D

Karstadt, Commerzbank, Rewe, etc. etc. etc.

Actually, please let it be Rewe. I want to see Cavendish riding around with "JA! Ich will sparen" all over his jersey.

Even though I don't like the team much I'm happy that the most winningest team in cycling has found a sponsor.

Considering the image of cycling in Germany, I don't think the new Highroad sponsor will be a bank. My guess, E-on is finally stepping into cycling, after sponsoring Highroad's farm team for a couple of years.

I wonder who HTC will sign, if they sign anyone established at all? I mean Cav and Goss are said to be going, but they might just promote Degenkolb and Rasmussen rather than bringing anyone in from outside. Hey, they could always throw money at Guardini...

If they've got a German sponsor, I assume they will want a few more Germans. Perhaps they could get Knees off Sky in some sort of swap deal for Renshaw (and/or Eisel). Ciolek could do with some support (he had his best days under Aldag), if available. What happens to Greipel if or when OPL break up? They'll probably attract the best u23 riders as usual.

They need to focus on keeping Martin, Degenkolb and Velits and building a team around them.

Greipel must be of great value to a German sponsor, him and Martin being the two most famous German riders, and with him just having added an important Tour stage to his palmares. He only left HTC because of Cav and OPL as it is finishes this year, so it seems a natural move. He and Degenkolb shouldn't clash - yet. They could collect some nice German domestiques as you've mentioned. Hey, If they could bring in Martens for the Ardennes they could have quite a balanced team for once, but I'm just getting carried away thinking of every German rider in the peloton.

GreenEDGE already secured 70% of riders for next year

Source

"We probably have about 70 per cent,'' Bannan said when asked how many of his riders had been secured. ''We have been in good discussions. There is still a lot to be finalised down the line, but we are not far away. We are working hard in our discussions and are confident that after August 1 we will be able to starting confirming who they are.''

For those on this site that don't speak German, what does that actually mean?
