If it's true about Martin, I guess he was on the short list of people sponsor Saxo Bank would kick in additional money to hire. I wouldn't want Contador or Porte to hear about it before the Tour is over, though.

Why? Porte's probably going somewhere else and he will be a useful domestique for any TTT/to help AC.

No way in hell does Sky let Geraint leave. He looks like being the next big thing in British cycling, they will throw money at him.

And no way will Gerraint leave Sky.

Hes in some ways the face of SKy, only Brad and later Cav will beat him for that, but hes far less vulgar and more socially acceptable than them.

If you see his videoblogs hes always joking around, very friendly with all his teammates and with Yates, even when he was injured.

He was making jokes about that 5000 he lost yesterday, doesnt seem to be someone who would leave all that behind for a bit of money.

Sky is the best thing that happened to him, no one benefits as much from them. Hes already friends with most of the guys, and hes given leadership and domestiquing jobs evenly around the season, whereas with other teams he would probably be domestique more often than not.

I agree with you totally , I'm someway he's more the face as he well and truly come into the limelight at SKY, he's a great example of a a rider/team relationship that suits them both peefetly.

Yeah. Most riders seem very happy at Sky, actually.

BMC are trying to collect world champions again. If they played their cards right they might even get the next one and Thor: 4 altogether. Might be hard though, some of the best candidates will have been signed already.

Cavendish is a pretty big name.

But probably not any others, I agree.
