Solid Signiture but with TJ and Cav and Velits and others probs to GE leaving they're going to have to do some solid recruitment to stay at the top.
True, but I doubt Cavendish is signing a 1 year contract.Bavarianrider said:Wiggins won't ride the Tour in 2012 i guess.

But do we already know how the TT course will look at the Olympics?
El Pistolero said:Yes, we do. Canc will win.
maltiv said:Would HTC have renewed their contract if they knew Cavendish would be leaving? I doubt it. If Sky seriously thinks Wiggins can podium at the TDF then they can't combine that with having Cavendish on the team anyway, because he needs 8 guys behind him, as we see at HTC where even potential GC candidates have to work in his leadout because no other team wants to take responsibility.

Apparently Brian Holm has gotten a concrete offer to bring 4-5 of the best guys at HTC with him to a new team that has the budget ready but lacks points and management. The team could possibly be built around Cavendish who Brian Holm says has not signed anything with Sky yet no matter what the rumors are saying.
Is this a new project that we haven't heard anything about or is this GE or a team out of whatever is going on in Belgium or what?

Leadout was perhaps the wrong word, or well he should have a leadout as well, but he also needs a couple of strong guys to get back the breakaways every single day because obviously no other team would assist doing that when they know that Cavendish will win 9/10 times.craig1985 said:TBF Cav has won without much help from his lead-out train.

TeamSkyFans said:if i read it right, it doesnt say a new team, just teams with money but not many points this year.
If it is a a new team, PT candidate still looking for management, that's not a good sign.ingsve said:At any rate we might have another big budget candidate to fight for a PT license this year regardless if it's completely new or if it's a team upgrading their budget.
ingsve said:Well, it does say a new team in danish (translation might miss it) but it could be that they mean that it's a new team for them rather than the team is new. They also say the team lacks management but that could also mean it's a smaller team that is looking to move up.

Someone said that was happening, then someone else said that HTC were renewing sponsorship, upthread.vala-vala said:I hope that Holm can create a "good" team with Degenkolb and Martin as leaders and some good riders more.
Perhaps with german sponsors (eOn, Cube bikes...)
I read that this new team will show tomorrow this project in Tour France?it is true?
