Just seen Bradley Wiggins in the southbound services near Nantes. Enjoying a gallette in the Flunch.
Heading toward the Vendee? I thought he looked quite good with that flash of green, maybe he has a taste

Cause he's an idiot that's only in it for the money.
He was in it for the stage win. That possibility was severely diminished when Leopard decided to ride, and completely disappeared when Andy attacked. There was nothing else for him to do. He didn't sacrifice his own chances, contrary to what other mercenaries have done in the past. He wasn't the first, or the last. This happens literally all the time, and it has nothing to do with idiocy.

If he rides he's a dirty mercenary. If he doesn't ride, he's a scumbag wheelsucker. He really couldn't win in the eyes of some posters on here.

Hopefully Lelangue goes out on the hunt for a climber or two as the team only knocked off 25 seconds off the AC/AS escape. Santaromita has been rubbish during this tour.:p
to be fair though, they did well considering who was up the road in last nights stage.

Pah, Quick Step always get associated with every major name every offseason, never sign any of them.

Quick Step in the industry press is kind of like BMC in this forum. If in doubt, link somebody there.

Rider A does well in a race.

Is Rider A out of contract at the end of the year?

If Yes: "Rider A linked to BMC"
If No: "BMC should sign Rider A"

It was idiotic. Just with Pineau as well yesterday. QS is a pathetic loser team.

Sucking wheels would have been the only sensible thing to do. Now he made the peloton behind chase harder after Andy which resulted in Kevin de Weert sucking even more then usual. QS is ***. But that was proven already in the classics this year.

But he would actually offer something to them.

Rolland would offer something to any team if he continues to ride like he has during the Tour. I would like to see him a BMC like any number of other riders.

Well I could see how BMC would want climbing domestiques. All the rumours seem to be about classics guys though, which they have heaps of. They might want to hire more established climbers though. Where were last year's recruits during this Tour?

Moinard has done well, morabito has been dissapointing but Santaromita has been very dissapointing. He went up to Lelangue before the tour started and said he wanted to ride the TDF for cadel. You'd think he would be a bit better than he has.

If he's smart he would. I always think it's better for young talents to start their career in foreign teams.

Exactly. Every year Lefevre looks at who the biggest names out of contract are and says he's trying to sign them. And every year the teams ends up being lead by Tom Boonen.

This was last year's effort: http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/2870/Quick-Step-confident-Contador-will-be-with-team-in-2011.aspx
