I really like the direction they are heading in.

They have some impressive riders really staring to show their talent; Geniez, kittel etc.

When does Kittel's contract end?

I think he recently signed for two more years, so 2013. Gretsch is also an important reinforcement of their sprint train. Skil, the new HTC? ;)

thanks.
very nice for them.

HTC continue to lose riders. Think it is looking more unlikely this team will find a new sponsor. I wonder how much truth is in the vasc-htc merge rumors.

Wouldn't surprise me if they became World Tour next year or in 2 years.

Ok, I thought they were a Dutch team lol.
They are, but when they get a WT license, it won't be because of their great Dutchies... they're a bit like Vacansoleil in that respect.

Three Dutch WT teams would also be kind of ridiculous, we barely make the top-10 of strongest cycling nations, so why have three teams at the highest level?

Anyone else surprised that Evans extended his contract by 2 years of which he will be racing till he is 37?

EDIT: I am not complaining! :D

Not really. According to his DS he is training the house down. Very enthusiastic and loves to compete. The TDF win will only give him more confidence I think.

It seems like they will lose at least 8-10 from their list, and there have been no rumours of anyone joining them.

If they aren't merging with another team I can't picture them being around next season.

Man these days it's boring to be a Rabobank fan, they hardly sing any new riders! I really wish they would focus a little bit more on signing foreign talent instead of focusing so much on Dutch riders.

Lol, last year they signed Barredo, Luis Leon, Breschel, Wynants, and Matthews. But you're right, the focus is way too much on Dutch riders...

That is true, I forgot about Brechel, too bad he hasn't had the chance to showcase much this year. My point is that they have one of the biggest budgets in pro cycling, but their squad isn't really that strong and broad. I wish they would go for the really big names ocassionally, just to relieve some of the pressure on the Dutch guys.

Menchov, Rasmussen, Freire.
