Apart from the above, I also saw Thor beat Eddy using a 2 on 1 breakaway, which clearly demonstrates his bunch sprint superiority...
My post said I would back them. It didn't say it was certain. The evidence is pretty clear that both Goss & EBH are faster sprinters than Thor nowadays. Thor clinging on on hillocks whilst wearing Yellow is neither here nor there. In a breakaway stage he managed to survive better by pacing himself properly, which is creditable, but equally EBH managed to drop several good climbers on a later stage.
To bring this back to the original point, I don't believe any team trying to turn MSR in to a bunch sprint will be terrified of Thor Hushovd. Maybe you know better.

Libertine Seguros said:Movistar tweet that they have secured the signatures of the Caja Rural duo Javier Moreno Bazán and José Herrada for the next two seasons.
These look like some pretty solid signings.
The 27-year-old Moreno has just come off his most successful season, with a handful of top 10 places in hilly Spanish one-day races like the GP Miguel Induráin, but also has been highly visible throughout April and May, with an impressive 2nd in the Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid, after finishing 3rd in the climactic stage to the Puerto de la Morcuera, following on from his spectacular win in the Vuelta a Asturias, where he won the queen stage to the Alto del Acebo with a brilliantly judged climbing assault, before holding on against the multiple attacks of Tino Zaballa in the climactic stage to Monte Naranco, eventually gifting him the win at the summit.
José Herrada was Moreno's right hand man in those races, pulling back breaks, doing a huge amount of pacing and really gluing the race together for Moreno. He has some good results in the same races (Madrid and Asturias, where he has been in the top 10 for the last three years), as well as winning a stage of last year's Volta a Portugal and impressing on his way to 4th at the Route du Sud. The top 20 of the Vuelta al País Vasco is nothing to be sniffed at either for the 25-year-old Castilian. Of course, it certainly doesn't hurt that his younger brother Jesús is currently on the Movistar squad.
I remember Moreno was surprisingly strong in San Sebastian last year, probably his best achievement to date. His Vuelta was quite underwhelming though.Libertine Seguros said:Movistar tweet that they have secured the signatures of the Caja Rural duo Javier Moreno Bazán and José Herrada for the next two seasons.
