Cav to Andalucia confirmed on Eurosport by David Harmon literally 30 seconds ago.

That's a lie. I've just read a Russian report, quoting a girlfriend of a chiropractor of one of the team's trainers, that Cavendish has inked a deal with Team Katusha's continental feeder squad Itera-Katusha, where he'll be sharing leader's roles with Alexey Tcarevitch, another strong sprinter

Personally, I just hope that Griepel, Farrar, Cav, Goss, Kittel, Pettachi and Galymzinov are on different teams next year so we can see the best sprinting against the best. I don't want another Evans and Gilbert situation.

Goss hardly belongs among those names.

Pettachi and Galymzinov too. EBH should be there easily. But yeah, I really am looking forward to next2 years with the new talents of Kittel, Degenkolb, Swifty and Appollonio getting better and challenging Cav at the Tour.

Should be in the Cancellara, Gilbert, Boonen, Hushovd, Ballan group?

He has more in common with Gilbert, Boasson Hagen, Sagan, Degenkolb and guys like that.

On the really flat stages, he doesn't stand a chance against guys like Cav, Farrar and Kittel, he needs more challenging stuff (or a sprint without the really fast guys like in San Remo)

Don't totatlly agree with that, he's certainly better suited too the tougher sprints but he's still top 5 in my eyes in a flat finish would only rate Cav, Farrar, and it appears Kittel as clearly ahead of him bit I also rate EBH as better on the difficult stages. So.if Cav really is going to SKY as well I don't see Goss's motivation? How confirmed actually are rumours?

On the topic of out-of-favour Italians, Pozzato has only been linked with Farnese Vini so far hasn't he? Or Lampre I may have seen at some point.

GE should be chasing Pozzato, if they have not they are crazy especially if they do not sign Goss.

That's what makes it very intresting imo. If it's not Sky for Cav, then who ? Wouldnt be surprised by OPQS really.
