Nownow, therethere, take a chill pill. There is a nice thread on Cobo in the Clinic and for me personally I can't say Wuyts was off by miles regarding Cobo.

Also he is generally quite well informed on most cycling matters, so why on earth it would be BS by definition is beyond me. Given the way the season has gone for Geox and given the fact that Gianetti so far failed to deliver to his title sponsor Geox the marketing podium they were undoubtedly looking for, I could see Geox bail out and put their eggs in another basket (i.e. F1).

he is not well informed in cycling at all. he only talks about whine every stage probably because he has nothing to say about cycling anymore. his ways of talking resemble korsakoff instead of a wake mind. he went downhil ever since boonen broke through but this year it has gotten so bad that it;s sad to listen to. he implies doping on cobo or anyone at geox yet finds the results of de gendt or vanendert normal. I assume you are belgian too? then I guess you objectivity just flew out of the window, as does mine but I don't care.

He wouldn't dare say such a thing about Vanendert, for example. When unlike him Cobo did have some results before this year.

exactly. I couldn't believe the **** he was saying.

So the man is biased towards countrymen. How unexpected! And naturally that makes everything else he has to say complete BS. How could I have missed that?

I know he rarely says anything nasty about Belgians, even the fact that JvdB scored very high on UCI's suspect list hardly gets a mention. I agree that is hypocritical in a sense, but again that hardly makes every word he utters BS or the ramblings of a senile man.

But hey, if that helps not discussing the issues at hand and makes you feel better, go right ahead.

Now that was a big bullshiit list

Meh, you shouldn't complain. The Spanish commentators were saying how suspicious Europcar were during the Tour, but come Cobo and the Vuelta and it's all "weeeeeee!!!!"

well then you should complain too, as do I.

Accoding to this German source Sergio Paulinho , Nelson Oliveira, Manuel Cardoso and Tiago Machado might be signing for Riis.

Is there a link? I would be interested to read the story on that.

Good signing. Very promising young rider.

I'll be interested to see what type of rider he becomes. He can sprint but prefers small bunch kicks. Looks a similar rider to Ben Swift in many ways.

Looks like a cobbled classics man and/or possibly a Amstel Gold type rider (by the way, I am not saying he'll win any of these, just the type of rider I think he may become).

The comparison I've heard most is Visconti. A better uphill sprinter than Swift, but not the same kick on the flat. Who knows how it ends up translating to the pro scene though.

So if this is true then the riders making the move to Radioshack are:

Andy Schleck / Fränk Schleck / Fabian Cancellara / Maxime Monfort / Daniele Bennati / Stefan Denifl / Giacomo Nizzolo / Joost Posthuma

Which leaves the following I presume looking for a new team:

Jakob Fuglsang / Linus Gerdemann / Oliver Zaugg / Dominic Klemme / Anders Lund / Martin Mortensen / Martin Pedersen / Thomas Rohregger / Tom Stamsnijder / Bruno Pires / Davide Viganò / Jens Voigt / Robert Wagner / Fabian Wegmann / Will Clarke / Brice Feillu.

Also added to that second list would be Ben Hermans & Gregory Rast who were meant to be moving to LT from RS.

Edit: Cancellara will be left with a rather weak team for next year?

You know it's a lost cause. You can't get irrational nationalism out of the commentators. They're selling the product to the uninformed masses, not to the true cycling fans.

that's why I complain in forums hoping to reach some of those uninformed masses, or at leastv people who can reach those :)

Well at least that makes De Cauwer knowlegdable by virtue of experience. LOL

Good comparison that. It's hard to say though because riders do change. Ben Swift was regarded as a climber at one point in time but look what he's developed into.

11 riders were rumoured to have been told to find new contracts. Was that 11 with contracts meaning 5 of the above did not have contracts for next year? Is Clarke a chance of going to GE?

Those two would be weird. Not that I would mind though. It would make liking Jakob much easier...
