Saw that too, but don't remember reading anything about where Dean might be going. Retirement, perhaps?

How about Greenedge, seeing as not all the expected names (Renshaw) are going after all.

Twitter rumors sends Froome to Saxobank.

@guyvermeiren

Now that would be extremely shocking to me.

If it's true, I'd give him leadership in the Giro and let him work for Contador in the Tour.

If Froome and Paulinho join Saxo Bank it would be awesome news, all Contador needs to do is ensure they are in form and he has a cracking team

Yeah, or let him do the Vuelta again with whatever support Saxo can give. However I don't really see why that situation is better for him than Sky, except maybe money.

Working for Contador at one GT with leadership at another with opportunities at any race Alberto isnt at would be very appealing if i was Froome

Yeah right. Any rider with own GT ambitions would have to be pretty greedy to move to a team that can barely support a leader in 2 GTs.

very strange interview
http://www.roadcycling.co.nz/TeamTalk/henderson-excited-about-his-2012-plans.html

he was fed up at sky because he kept getting overlooked for leaders role, etc etc and then says he is going to lotto to be part of a sprint train for Greipel.

No doubt in a year be moaning that he isnt getting opportunities of his own and has to lead out Greipel all the time.

Well, I guess there is a chance that when riding for Greipel he might get a chance to ride the Tour which I think is the real problem he has with Sky.

It could also be that since he says he is good friends with Greipel that might indicate that he wasn't getting along with the other sprinters at Sky. It's easier to work for a friend that to work for someone you don't like.

It's borderline at best at Sky too though, especially with Cav figured in. Maybe Garmin or one of the french teams could be a better option if his focus is more on winning than getting rich quick.

Personally I'd let him lead at Paris-Nice/Tirreno, Romandie and whatever to see where his level's at before planning any GTs around him.

Exactly, he doesn't have any other results to back this one up yet.

If Cav is at Sky, that's a biggish chunk of the team that will have to work for him at all three grand tours. Any GC man on a team with Cav will always have to share a sizable part of the team. It's better to be at a place without divided goals.

Paris-Nice it is then as Contador will do Tirreno-Adriatico if he's not banned. If he's banned than Riis is a genius once again if he really does sign Froome.

I'd even say one of the minor stage races with a TT, like Murcia or something. He really hasn't had any strong results even in these races up until now.
