It's been an open secret that Castroviejo is going to Movistar, but nothing's been officially announced until now. He'll be a loss to EE if he is on form (unlike from June onwards when he CBF when he decided to go to Movistar) as they have lost a guy who can actually TT.

Yeah I'm sure it was him being lazy and not wanting to ride. Nothing to do with it being around the same time it was announced he was going to Movistar. Purely a coincidence.

Jonas Aaen, Jaroslaw Marycz and also our friend from Israel, Ran Margaliot, will stay with Saxo Bank. Aaen for the next 2 years, Marycz and Margaliot 1 year.

Well his form dropped after the Tour of Switzerland and was left out of the team for the Tour and then the Vuelta as well, where his TT skills would have been a lot use in the two TTT's, especially going into both races Euskaltel had high hopes with Sánchez and Antón GC-wise (which they got with Sánchez).

Aaen and esp Marycz are nice to keep. Dunno about Margaliot. Hasnt showned much, but they must have seen something positive in him (or fishing for a wealthy Israeli sponsor ;) )

Neither the Tour nor the Vuelta were in his program. Maybe if he had been on better terms with Igor he would have made it into the squad, but in principle he wasn't going to do any GT.

Bennati - Farnese
Strange transfer , why they sign him ? Guardini can give to the team much more then Bennati . Is this transfer mean that Guardini will leave Farnese , or Bennati will be a part of his lead out train ?

guadini needs to learn how to get over a road bump without getting dropped. bennati can win much tougher races so it does make sense.
