Is he climber ?

Not like Anacona. More of a "hilly" rider who can limit his losses on the climbs.

And although he won Giro Bio, he benefited from a break on stage 2 (or 1, I can't remmember for sure).

Late to the discussion on Pirazzi, but Trentino '10 he was all over the road on too. He will theoretically have been a domestique to Pozzovivo more or less everywhere he's gone, but only in the same way as Amets Txurruka is theoretically a domestique for Sánchez and Antón, he just prefers to do his domestiquing from ten minutes up the road, that's all.

Benenati instead of Bennati is excellent news, because I thought the Farnese Vini transformation from one of the most exciting teams in the péloton to one of the least would have been completed with an extra sprinter + train.

And how do you gather that?

Its just what I have heard. He is out of contract at the end of the year. Probably a victim of Sky assenbling Cav's train. Would be a good rider wherever he goes. Great domestique with enough ability to take advantage of his own opportunities when they turn up.

yeah. also the course of giro bio wasn't superhard as last year. otherwise anacona would've won but cattaneo is still very good in the steep climbs and explosive climbs. but longer climbs less. he is 182 and 60 kg so you should figure

According to cyclism'actu, Brajkovic does not feature in Bruyneel's plans anymore, so he wants to get rid of him. Astana would be willing to take him under the condition that Bruyneel pays part of his salary. They are also said to have approached Fuglsang.

I've only heard a rumour of him going to BMC (another one I know) which was put on twitter by Will Fotheringham. Still see him staying at Sky though.

Even worse he should pay some wage:rolleyes:

The article said is about 30 riders limit but I think Johan wants domestiques and not protected riders. With brothers Schleck he already has leaders.

I can remember at 2006 Johan hoping Brajkovic will be the next superstar... pretty clear he lost his faith in him, this year he failed big at Vuelta and crash at the Tdf.

In the end Andy only add Kloden and Horner not a significant difference. And Fugslang maybe go back to Riis but I don't think Bruyneel reinforce Saxo.

Neither the Tour nor the Vuelta were in his program. Maybe if he had been on better terms with Igor he would have made it into the squad, but in principle he wasn't going to do any GT.

IIRC didn't you say that Euskaltel were rather annoyed that Castroviejo was going to Movistar?

Yes, they are. But that's a different matter. I mean, they didn't change his program to keep him from riding a GT.

Really? Which bit was talking out of his *** again? Was it saying riding for a sprinter and a GC rider has been done before? Maybe it was saying that he doesn't know what Sky's plans are? Or maybe when he said that until it is announced there is no point planning?

Or maybe it was the imaginary quote in which he made an official announcement that Cav will be riding for Sky.

Sky's media management of this whole saga has been very average considering they are suppose to be a top WT team. Dragging it out, making Cav delete his tweets about moving to Sky and then Sky riders stating that he is pretty much moving to Sky is just comedic.
