Of course, the sponsor contract may have run until 2011, but that never stopped T-Mobile, Saunier Duval etc. from stopping early.
Iran cycling seems to be pretty conservative while probably Rebellin tried to get them involved for an european project.

Just did a quick search and found an article from a local newspaper reporting dates from 2002 and 2007, reporting also his income for each year during that period.
