I'm sure they will try to go at least a full season with all-Russians, and then depending on how the season goes, try to figure out what direction to take the team

Well, nowhere specifically but that's just what I've understood the strategy for development of Russian talent set to be.

TIK -----> RusVelo ------> Katusha

Obviously Katusha needs some non-Russian riders to maintain the status, RusVelo might or might not need it in the future.

The team has signed 5 ukrainians to the roster .

Denys Kostyuk , Dmytro Krivtsov , Yuriy Krivtsov (ex Ag2r) , Oleksandr Kvachuk , Oleksandr Sheydyk (ex ISD-Lampre CT) And earlier this year Vitaly Buts renewed his contract with Lampre-ISD .

Total : 6 ukrainians in Lampre-ISD's roster in 2012 .

Meh, don't see Liquigas, and don't want to see him at Lampre. Hopefully Farnese sign him. And David Rebbelin FTM

can't really see how...he's been a good yet mediocre rider during his entire career except for his last two seasons when he went like "BOOM!" one of the best GT riders...this guy is all clinic material, much unlike Rebellin who is PRISTINE CLASS

The article says his ban ends on 5th May, same day as the start of the Giro but he is a bit worried about not having any racing day on his leg, which would hurt quiet a lot.
He reported that he will choose among the WT teams at first (Lampre or Farnese) althought if he goes for example at Lampre, he would be a gregario for Scarponi but then he would have free role at Vuelta.
