CasperVg said:Sep Vanmarcke also rumoured to Rabobank, says he hasn't signed anywhere yet and that annoys him. Also, he will probably not ride the Vuelta for Garmin because of the UCI-points available there.

Gloin22 said:AFter very mediocore year for him, I don't think he's as good target for other teams as he was in 2010. At Tour he was really quite bad.

Konfronto said:Did't see that info on this thread, so to let you know: Fabio Aru joined Astana and signed contract for 2013-2014, he is available for the team from 1 august 2012 onward.
Cimber said:Kreuziger getting the Fuglsang-treatment. No Vuelta, no San Sebastian but instead deported overseas to Colorado (just like Fuglsang). This strongly indicates that Kreuziger is history at Astana.
UCI seriously gotta do something. Otherwise team line-ups in the end of each season will be a joke. Teams should have an incentive to slect the strongest squads for the big late-season races. What is going on now is not fair for the riders, the fans and the sponsors. Maybe split the points 50/50 between rider and team (both benifit from results even if the rider leaves)?
Andrew_M said:According to Polish website Pro-cycling.org there is a huge possibility that he'll go to Movistar; also AG2R is named like posted above.
(And his name is Szmyd, not Syzmdpronounced like 'Shmyt')

Arnout said:Agreed. A team like AG2R risks losing its licence in favor of Saxo because they do the right thing and let Roche ride.
Europcar, Cofidis and Argos probably request a WT license. They don't have a lot of points, but 1 big new name could bring them into the top-18.Leonardus said:I doubt it if there is really a potential risk for the WT teams to lose their license just because they don't have enough points. All current WT teams will continue next year and there are no signs we will see a new big team that wants a WT license for 2013.

Johan Tschopp (bmc)
Gabriel Rasch (FDJ)
Alexander Kristoff (Kat)

On the other hand, AG2R signs 2 free agents for a third they are paying Roche now with almost the same points.Arnout said:Agreed. A team like AG2R risks losing its licence in favor of Saxo because they do the right thing and let Roche ride.

Cimber said:Wonder if the rumours about Spartacus could be true
Fidolix said:Hardly, if you mean him signing the Aim project.
And besides, if I were Fab I would be done with experimenting with my career and not waste more time, 2 years without a major win is far beneath his level, disregarding his crashes.
IF he change teams I wouldn´t be surprised he goes back to Riis with Voigt, but I wouldn´t hold my breath that happens.
