what it means for a colombian to ride for a colombian team

Why did Henao leave then? I would think if he wanted to ride for his home grown team, he would have resigned with them.

Btw what is the history behind your obsession with Columbian riders? Got Columbian roots?

their passion for what bike racing should be all about. they are the only glimpse of light in current european cycling except sagan or cancellara maybe.

There is an unexplained phenomena among cycling fans in Holland with absolutely no Latin roots, to become.obsessed with Colombian riders

Did not mean that, but we got alot of riders that are more aggressive than atleast Sagan, who 9/10 times can rely on a very good sprint?

it's not just about blidnly attacking but by racing to win at all costs. did you see henao or uran sprint today for 2nd place in san sebastian? of course not

Ok, cheers. Was just curious. But dont u find it a bit generalizing? I mean surely not all Columbians are like that and surely 99% of the euro-riders arent the opposite?

No kidding. I was implying that Colombians don't always want to ride for Coldeportes. Hence why Henao is riding for Sky.

Henao signed with Sky before Coldeportes existed.

Because to people raised in a country where 50m above sea level is considered the highlands, Colombia is a world of totally alien wonder, a bit like putting the Amish in the control room at NASA.
