Any ideas that Vino is going to promote attack based races as ds, are shortly in jeopardy with him signing the least flexible rider in the world

Nibali, Kiser, Iglinsky, Kessiakoff, Grivko is all very attacking riders, so probably yea.
While at the same time Astana got people like Gaspa who can rely on a very good sprint and Birdsong Brajkovic that probably just will ride along in their races to get as high on gc as possible

Yes, Guardini isn't flexible.

Fuglsang on the other hand won the Österreich Rundfahrt with a sort of attack that would have had ****head fanboys salivating had it been done by their loan giving hero.

Not much love for pretty boy around here :) Maybe he should have joined Liam Gallagher and his evil empire instead!

He will look fine in light blue tho ;)

I truly believe he will perform better-perhaps not right away , but the fact that he has finally found an "stable" team-far away from the Schleck sisters drama & problematic DS's, he'll be able to concentrate purely on racing & get back his confidence :)

Cheap? He got money from Tinkoff but there are other teams with money too. BMC, Astana, Sky, OPQS, Katusha etc

Too many teams with cash and not enough good free agents. Unless RNT and LIQ folds (or merge) there is no supply of good riders.

PS Vuelta game is now open ...

Liquigas is not folding; the question mark is just about Radioshack.

And maybe therefore alot of teams leave som spots open on their teams, cos if RSNT folds there will be a lot of quality riders on the market.

I am pretty sure of that too, but one thing is to perform better, another thing is fighting for the yellow jersey.

Wait and see what happens before you call him cheap.

Riis has stated several times over during the last couple of weeks that he will not reveal a number of the riders he has signed. His main reason is that they might be treated like Fuglsang, i.e. prevented from racing in larger point giving events.

Personally I think that he will reveal 3-4 medium to big names, and a number of minor ones.

To be honest, if those riders get prevented from racing and it is a problem for Riis, it either means they don't have much points yet or they aren't that big names. The really big names most of the time don't get left out because they leave the team, because they have a shot at winning. Which is more important for the sponsor than points next year. I don't count Fuglsang as a big name.

Thor was left out of the Vuelta in one of his best winning seasons, for exactly this reason, and it´s by far not the only time it happens with the "big" names.
Your reasoning makes no sense.
Riis has a point, and of obvious reasons we don´t know who he signed other than Roche and Kump, so you are making assumptions out of unknown facts.

Surely the SD's already know if their rider is staying or going by now. They might not know if it's to SBTB ( how little contact would there be between rider and SD if that was the case..) but they obviously know if the riders aren't staying so can't see the problem in revealing the names.

Thor's points last season weren't the problem, JV has another logic.
The Vuelta gives you a training advantage for the next spring season, JV simply didn't want any classics riders who were leaving have that advantage.
If he doesn't do this he'll stengthen his future opponents.
Really, how many points would Hushovd have gotten had he ridden the Vuelta? Same goes for Vanmarcke.

Riis' logic also makes no sense, as teams already know who's leaving.
Kreuziger was also mysteriously left out of the Vuelta, while Riis still hasn't announced signing him.

U forget the "medium bit names" who can make a top 10 or 15 in GTs (which gives point) or get top 5 or something in other WT races. Its pretty clear that both Fuglsang and Kreuziger are being left out for that reason (Bruynell even admitted that)

Would be dumb. Team will also ride for Sagan. And letting Moser his first GT be the tour is also not smart. Or is he riding the vuelta this year? Would be too early if that's the case.
