3rd in G-W, 9th in RvV.

I'm sure he was thrilled with Rabo's decision about sending him to Amstel instead of P-R.
I don't mean to start a discussion with half of Denmark, but that 9th in the Ronde wasn't very impressive. A huge group came in behind Boonen & friends.

I think on paper Amstel is a race that should really suit Breschel, more than Roubaix. BTW I don't think anyone forced him to go there, he still had some knee issues as well.

Second group was big because the chasers behind the leaders didn't really co-operate well together. Breschel was part of the chasers. I think that group had 10 riders or something.

And said some nasty things about how clueless he thinks Lotto are, as well.

Yeah, not as clueless as Vanmarcke this season though. Totally getting his peak wrong and thinking he could match Boonen & Co once the Vlaamse wielerweek started.

Rabobank preventing him from riding Roubaix didn't exactly help either. Could well have seen him getting Turgot's second place.

Didn't he decide that himself? To avoid an injury flaring up?

He made the decision together with Rabo stating that Amstel is much more important to Rabo. He also admit it was a mistake as it was too long after RVV. Also it was a decision that was made back in december so nothing to do with any injury:

But on topic: Nice signing for SBTB who needs firepower on the cobbles after Nuyens is leaving, but they need to sign more than Breschel to be a real force in RVV and PR. Also since Breschel is a bit risky as sole captain since he seems to be injured alot. Bennati should be a force in GW, but would he also be able to be a force in PR?

Bennati has competed in Paris-Roubaix 4 times and abandoned each time, so I don't see him becoming a contender. He might make a good domestique in other classic races for Breschel though. He did a good job working for Cancellara at Strade-Bianche this year.

Would be very surprised if he doesnt end up at OPQS. He wants to go back to his best mate Holm

And specialized besides the team sucks at GC's in a GT so perfect.

Jack Bobridge Orica-Greenedge > Rabobank
Grega Bole Lampre-ISD > Vacansoleil-DCM

According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf

Also an article about Vierhouten possibly becoming a DS for Vacansoleil, which would be wonderful news for the Dutch u23.

As expected, but a good signing. And nice with a 3 years contract. Given Kreuzigers own statement I reckon the first step will be to rebuild his confidence. I think he will do well on the team. Hopefully the main focus to begin with will be 1 week stage races and helping Berti in the Tour.

EDIT: Kreuziger retweedet this recently, which might indicate he will focus on the Giro again?:

In case you missed it: the Giro d'Italia 2013 will be unveiled on Sunday September 30th! #cantwait

Saxo can have a great tour team now. Damn can't wait for tour '13 :p

And btw it's not a hindrance that Kreuziger ride the giros, he only needs to be good in around 3 stages in the tour, look at Basso for example.
