He said multiple times he hates the Vuelta.
Never said why though
Really? He's never even started it, so that's odd. He did say earlier this year he wanted to race the Tour and/or the Vuelta in 2013 though. Had enough of cold, rainy May weather.

Is Cataldo the only confirmed signing for Sky?

With Appollonio, Barry, Cavendish, Flecha, Hunt, Lokvist, Nordhaug all leaving/retiring? Any others? Maybe Eisel with Cav?

They have a lot of spots to fill, Kiryienka seems certain, JTL and Dombrowski quite likely, any others strongly linked?

Are Sky all about the GT's now? Classics are a 2nd thought or will they build a team around JTL?

In my eyes they have a great squad just need some more experience which they have lost in Flecha.

Potential Classics Squad: JTL Eddy G Eisel (unless he sticks with Cav) Hayman Sutton Stannard Pate

Lars Bak is also rumored to go to Sky, Davide Martinelli has signed with them. With all the GT riders they have I don't thing they are too focused on the classics at this point.

To the bolded, hadn't thought of Eisel going with Cav. Anybody know how long he is signed for? Would he have to buy himself out of his contract as well?

Transfer rumours. David Lopez from MOV to SKY. Larsson from VCD to IAM. Mezgec and Janse van Rensburg to ARG. Bole from LAM to VCD

So Argos is indeed fighting for a WT spot. But would Rensburg mean that Dengenkolb is leaving? For a year ot two there should be room for both while Rensburd is maturing, so maybe Argos are just planning ahead. Let Rensburg learn from Dengenkolb next year(s) and then if/when Dengenkolb leaves Rensburg will have matured enough to take over

Eisel has a contract till 2013, Cav until 2014.
Don't know anything about a price of an Eisel buy out. If both want to leave, I guess they will arrange a 'package' price.

I thought JTL had pre-signed with Ag2R, or is that now not the case, are people reading Cycling Weekly too much?

As far as I know, all that has actually been confirmed is that ot will be a WT team.

I would expect sky, though I guess it could realistically be any.

It wouldnt suprise me give the fact he has been out on a couple of training camps with them.

I'm not a Sky fan tbh, fantastic their acheivement but it just reminds me of the Man Utd of the 90s, attracting too many fan boys. Good or Bad? hmm not sure.

Would JTL have a better opportunity like somewhere like AG2R? Hmm interesting. Oh and isnt it a ProTour team?

Cataldo, Lopez and Kiryienka all confirmed, had forgotten about Martinelli! So 3 more spots to fill if they go with 28 like this year! JTL, Dombrowski and Vanmarcke maybe?

I personally think that Vanmarcke will go to Rabobank where he'll share leadership with Boom for the classics. If Breschel leaves.

Looks like Sky are making a big effort to reinforce Cav's leadout train.
