Also cannot wait to see what JTL is really made of next year. Early in the season he was matching/beating Quintana, and we all know the level he is at after the Vuelta. Could be very interesting indeed. :D

Cataldo, Lopez and Kiryienka all confirmed, had forgotten about Martinelli! So 3 more spots to fill if they go with 28 like this year! JTL, Dombrowski and Vanmarcke maybe?

Martinelli was only a stagiaire, right?

Brailsford speaking to the BBC about negotiations with Cavendish and their meeting yesterday:
"Mark and I have known each other a long time. We all want the best for each other - let's not forget I've got the role of British cycling performance director as well as Team Sky principal and my interest is in seeing all GB riders perform to the best of their abilities in the right environment. There's no issues really."

After months of silence, the news we've all been waiting for: according to a Venezuelan journalist, Rujano went to Italy to try and find a team for next year. 1 Russian, 1 Spanish and 1 Italian team are said to be interested...

the spanish team is probably movistar. they wanted him last year as well.

Rujano? would not think he would manage those JRod hills and mountians very well would he?

the tours should suit him the most. longer climbs. the vuelta suits him the most because of the weather. the giro least because of the weather but the climbs and courses suit him well.

Coen Vermeltfoort doesn't get a new contract at Rabobank.

It's sad how cobbles talents never seem to break through there. Jetse Bol is another one. Or maybe they just aren't that talented.

I have to admit that the silly part of me actually finds it quite amusing that Pozzovivo and Dumoulin are gonna ride together from next year. They're like the minuature-guys of the peloton. (Not counting the south americans coz they're all miniature!)

Would be funny to see a head to head battle between Dumoulin and Vansummeren..

...so Astana sign Guardini and then spend the rest on climbers, leaving the green sprinter lacking support? That's a questionable descision IMHO.

Speaking of Iglinsky(the other one), I hope he starts some of the cobbled classics next year. He was third at the E3 Prijs Harelbeke in 2009.

Max Iglinskiy was 8-th in Ronde van Vlaanderen in 2010. He ended the race in big group behind Cancellara, Boonen, Gilbert and Leukemans
