Makes sense, as guys like Capechchi, Szmyd and Nerz left there are very few Mt domestiques left at Cannondale.

Cannondale will become a sprinters and classics team.

The Interesting effect will be on Kreuziger.

Was he promised sole leadership at the Giro?

Basso will surely be wanting to ride the Giro. He also most probably will be sort of a road captain for Bertie.

Basso might wanna ride but basedo n last 18 months his chances of podium look v slim. Maybe he will be happy as Super Dom with a chance of a stage win

I don't have the quotes to hand but Basso has been dropping hints all season that next year he will primarily be a stage-hunter in the GT's.

He's the national champion, beating older and more experienced guys. Can't be completely hopeless. :p

Lander has talent no doubt. His biggest problem has been consistency. This is the first season he consistently has shown his potential on the road. If BMC are able to capitalise they should have a good strong puncheur.

The Danish Championship has a side story. Landers' team was very strong. Maybe even stronger than SBTB and they rode it very wisely. Still Lander was in a break away but still managed to stay with the best riders when his group was caught. Nicki Sorensen was caught between Lander and his teammate Steensen (who was also very good in the race).

Basso, a stage hunter? As unexplosive as they come, his strength is his consistency.

Put him in the Sky TT team. Hard to see him becoming a stage hunter now. Be like Moncoutie being involved in bunch sprints.

Knees is amazing rider for protection in both flats and mountains. Real workhorse.

But Lopez will probably do something like that ( prep races ) Tirreno / Vais Pasco / Ardennes / Giro ---- Burgos / Vuelta schedule I would guess.

Perhaps the coaching is the problem, and not the scouting? Both those guys seemed fairly talented. Not like future stars or anything, but one would think they should've been decent riders by now.

I've always said eijssen was a joke. and he was. alreayd lived like a pro from ealry age. his dad who is quite rich even bought a u23 team for him so they would all work for him. also his comments reagdring avenir 2010, in which he was exposed for lakc of engine and recuperation, were pathetic and laughable. after this year a one way ticket out of wt. goodbye

Eijssen recently resigned for 1 more year with BMC, but I agree that he doesnt have what it takes.
