Theo Bos has done that several times. Even won a stage in it (in Denmark iirc).

Oh, didn´t know that... Maybe Bos feared revenge for his action against Impey in Turkey 2009, and so chose the skinsuit - no chance for someone else to pull him to the ground by his jersey... :D

Hope he does like Zabriskie in 2009... Riding Paris-Tours in a skinsuit...

Heard that riding a full mass start stage in a skinsuit can be rather risky business. :p

No problem for Zabriskie, that´s what he created DZ Nuts for... No need to stop, no need to open something, just let it flow to fine-tune DZ Nuts... :D

UCI Team Sporting Value (with transfers up to date) :

If Reinhardt Janse Van Rensburg signs with Argos which is quite possible, Argos would be in the top 15!!!
Thanks Nicosix! Hopefully this top-18 will all get the WT licenses.

Very low ranking for Lotto. Probably only Greipel and JVDB have lots of rider value.

Mark Cavendish won the Worlds in a skinsuit. Maybe he feared revenge from the numerous riders he has taken down ;)

That´s possible... Haussler must have been upset, having been looking forward to take revenge for Suisse 2010.

I guess we´ll see Ferrari in 2013´s Giro wearing skinsuits from day one to 21... Luckily for him, I think, in Giro, start numbers get ironed onto the clothes, so he mustn´t worry...

Must've made that after that situation from the Tour Millar talks about in his book*

*Admittedly I haven't actually read the book. Someone on this forum once talked about it...

VDB has the most points at Lotto... i don't think they have to fear for the WT status...

José Gonçalves, Christopher Jennings and Jason Bakke sign with La Pomme Marseille (say Cyclismactu).

José Gonçalves (1989) is ITT portuguese champion and 2nd on Portuguese national Ranking. He has a twin, like Velits and Efimkin ;)

Dominic Klemme, Roger Kluge, Ronan van Zandbeek and Thomas Bonnin will not be be a part of Team Argos-Shimano next season. The team management has decided to not renew the contracts of these four riders because they not fully fit in the sportive image and the vision for 2013, as the team has in mind.
Earlier this year the team also decided to not extend the contract of Alexandre Geniez. Geniez has already found a new team for next year.
Team Argos-Shimano wishes all five riders a successful continuation of their cycling career.

good news to see him leaving the portuguese scene, unfortunately at the moment there is no future there :(

he was a good surprise at the volta this year and is still very young, so he could certainly develop into a nice rider.

Klemme was clearly very talented as u23, but I think his failure as a pro is another good example of always watching the age of u23-rider results closely. He was 22 when he rode very strongly in 2008, but as many others riders like that Abeja, Gallego, Marzano, Muraglia, Mancuso and many more being a top u23 rider as a 22 year old just is not good enough. The big talents most often has to dominate u23 already when they are 20 year old, and riders staying amateurs when they are 22 very often ends up as very mediocre.

Have you calculated a value for IAM as well? They wouldn't be close to getting in the top 20 but it would be interesting to see what kind of points they can get as a new team that isn't focused on buying their way into the WT.

NetApp-Endura signed David de La Cruz, José Mendes and Ralf Matzka. De la Cruz is a very good signing. Only 23 and this year he was second in Vuelta as Asturias, 4th in Vuelta a Castilla y Léon and 5th in Volta a Portugal. Great talent for stage racing.

Interesting signing with José João Mendes. He's a good bet for every breakaway under the sun next year. I like him a lot.
