Gerdemann is leaving RSNT, according to rtl.lu.

The team will have 28 riders next year, 6 are leaving the team and 4 will join.

Already confirmed leaving are Bennati, Zaugg, Wagner, Posthuma and Fuglsang. It appears Gerdemann is the sixth.

Joining are Kiserlovski, Jungels, Hondo and Devolder, although the last two have not been confirmed officially as far as I know

Atlas Personal signs:

Kanstantin Klimiankou (BLR)
Maksym Averin (UKR)
Oleksandr Polivoda (UKR)
Mathieu Chiocca (FRA)
Giorgio Brambilla (ITA)

http://www.cyclismactu.net/news-transfert_cinq-coureurs-signent-chez-atlas-personal-28690.html

The signing of Brambilla might be a sign that LEOPARD TREK CT may not continue anymore. Since it was basically created for Jungels, who has now passed pro, it has served its purpose. There are no other Luxembourg talents at the moment. Kirsch looks promising, but not like the winner type. Its other main leaders Julian Kern and Aleksandr Pliuschin were able to step up too, so for some riders it really worked as a stepping stone. Brambilla had a lot of podium placings but only one win IIANM. Going to Atlas Personal is not really a step up from LEOPARD TREK.

No, Leopard will continue, but as U-23 team. And I wouldn`t say Atlas is bad choice. They have good calendar for conti team. Better, then Leopard

What type of rider is Verona???

He is a good climber who defends himself reasonable against the clock! Possible stage-race material. 1.86cm – 67kg.

He won the Spanish junior rankings in 2010 – He finished 4th in the 2009 rankings.

In 2009 he won Vuelta Sierra Norte a very hard junior stage-race which sadly now has folded. He also took the points and mountain jerseys. He turned pro at age 18 with Burgos 2016.

He is a good prospect, but still needs to mature a lot!

He rode the Tour de l'Avenir, wasn't particularly impressive there (at least in the results he wasn't)

Any fast men left for OPQS to bolster their lead-out options?

Do they really need him ?

I mean Bonnen could easily do the job for Cav at the Tour nd as he shown he can still sprint quite well ( beat Greipel few times this year etc. )

In other races, Fenn / Trentin should prove more than enough to be his lead - out imo.

I guess they need classy punchy rider / climber than a lead-out to make their roster more all-round.

I would assume that Steegmans gets that role. He has done some impressive leadouts for Boonen.

Steegmans, if he doesn't lead out too hard too early. Fenn had a good year for a young lad, but not consistend enough to say: your the leadout-man for Cav in GW, Schelde, Giro or Tour. Trentin is good in smaller bunshes where the speed is lower, but is he fast enough for a Tour mass sprint?
Boonen does not like bunchsprints that well with a 180 man group. He did some last year, but meanly smaller groups after Kemmelberg or wind-waaiers (Port Classic). In large groups he thinks the risks are too high, so I think he will just do a major shift with 1-2km to go.
