Kump was, a couple of years ago, a super talent. Lots of good results in sprints and intermediate stages in Italian races. He was with Geox in 2011, which didn't work out for him, and he returned to Slovenia this year. Good to see he's made it back to the top level. Or more actually since Geox were ProConti.

It´s a great signing!
The slovenian lokomotive. It´s good to see Riis is looking widely and also try to get some strong youngsters outside DK.
Pity Kump ended up at Geox, it was the wrong team from start to finish, with Saxo he can really explore his full potential. Great signing!

Great for both parties. When you see someone as talented as Kump having to go back to Adria you do worry if he'll make the big time. But he's ridden a decent program with them this year and should do well at SBTB.

He actually has 19 top 5 placings this season, of which 15 of them are podiums. And he makes results all year round.

Im pretty sure Riis will bring him back on track, no doubt he got all the talent in the world.

Yes but you have to look at the level he is racing at. He should be able to dominate at 1.2 and 2.2 level as he has been doing. Hopefully next year we'll get to see him confirming his talent on the bigger stage, he was immense as a U23.

"Liquigas" will have some recruitment to do for GTs. Nibali, Agnoli, Capecchi, Szmyd all gone.

Rumor has it that there will be more Americans because of Cannondale so I propose that they go for Dombrowski.

Hasn't Riis done this in the past with young riders? Give them a 1 year contract to see how they perform and extend it if they are performing well? I want to say he did it recently with Manuele Boaro, though I could be wrong in my recollection.
