Quite good? I think he's very good on the cobbles but was always without teammates. Very good signings by cannondale

What strengths do they bring to the role of domestiques?

Did Marcato lead Ricco out or did he just get outsprinted?;)

My main reason for asking was that Marcato and Gatto seem to have similar-styles to Sagan, so wasn't sure whether they'd be useful as lead-out riders or whether their own personal ambitions would take over?

By being a fan of Marcato Im not pleased to see him ending in a team which will have 3 other riders with same characteristics as him and one of them will be the obvious leader in every race he will enter.

+ Moser.....?

Too many cooks?

I'm very interested to see how it pans out as wouldn't describe any as pure doms so there could be infighting but their similar styles may mean they can all stay with the same moves and work together.

In the Ardennes! Man this is gonna be good. I love this team, their attitude, always choosing very young guns to develop into champions. BMC should take a lesson or two :D

Marcato and Gatto are proven amazing domestiques, and even Moser when needed can be a great domestique.

This could work really well for Cannondale if they do it right. Sagan was the source of most of their points the last two years, so this can free him up to focus on the big Northern classics, MSR and TdF rather than having such a long season while they have another three very capable riders to support in the rest of the WT and smaller races.

Gatto, Ratto and Moser in the Ardennes should be entertaining too and relieves expectations on Sagan.

When Sagan is marked by his rivals, I think Gatto and Marcato will have their chance to play as joker, just like Moser did in Strade Bianche

Man, I've been following cycling pretty closely since about 2006, and I've gotta admit I have no idea who Adrian Saez is. I don't even remember him being in a notable breakaway.

He's only been with Euskaltel for two years (he's 27) and has no results to speak of.

The Basque only policy of Euskaltel meant some riders got to ride in the World Tour without reallly deserving to be there based on talent.

Same thing is happening with Dutch guys now, without three WT teams some will never get into even a ProContinental team anymore.
