Duarte has offers from BMC and Astana for the next year.If he goes to Astana and if he will the level of the 3rd week of the Giro I will be scared.

Astana is no brain breaker for a rider like Duerte to join-specially when the main structure of the team is italian, which he seems to be very familiar with & have developed his career there. BMC is just not appealing at all.

Bert Grabsch is confirmed as leaving OPQS according to Cyclingfever. Retiring?

He is still in talk with several teams. But if these talks didn't come into a contract, he will retire.:(

yes. many. sebastian henao to sky, dayer quintana to movistar, duarte to astana probably and some more in immediate future, concerning among other teams(from olombia) coldeportes

Anybody knows if Chamorro or Heiner Parra Bustamente will be riding for a bigger team next year? Would be cool if they go to Colombia and we can see them in some wt races and a GT. (Though if Corti stays they will probably race mostly French flat classics)

Demol, Zubeldia, Devolder, Beppu

I checked myself, there are boatloads. I thought they might be shifting back to the original leopard guys and cleaning house. Not really, if at all.

Conflicting reports out of the Basque country. The fate of the team will be known on the 15th, so expect a few announcements. I'm pretty sure Landa has signed with Astana provided Euskaltel ends.

Chamorro was linked with Sky and Orica I think.

Costa's manager Juan Campos, said negotiations are down to Movistar, BMC and AG2R. He also said his future might only be announced by the end of the WC. There is also a strong possibility of him renewing with Movistar.

I wouldn't call it strong. Right now likely wise i would go with:

BMC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Movistar >> AG2R

I think AG2R will have even more troubles than Movistar finding those extra funds trying to get Costa which considering BMC, and their usual tendency to overpay riders, is in the race could be close to 2 mil per year.

Rui Costa's manager/agent said he hasn't made a decision yet, has offers from 3 WT teams, one of which is Movistar. Says his sporting opportunities will be the most important factor in a decision, more important than money. Also says Costa might wait until after World's to decide. Source

Sounds like Rui plans to make a hard run at rainbow jersey. Would love it if he won that. Although, if he then went to BMC as WC that would be a bit freaky.

edit: BigMac & Parrulo posted while I was writing. Damn you guys! :p :D
