Sure. But it's not like he was 20 or something. He was 24. And since then he's finished 14th, 16th and 28th.

Also you forget Wiggins (and Nieve).

Again, I'm not questioning Henao's ability or his potential. I'm just saying that Sky probably won't let him lead a GT next year, and based on his results, which have been less than stellar, it's understandable.

what does age matter. froome was 26 when he broke through. henao is only in his 2nd year in europe.

You can claim Henao had an off-year but he's still 22 in CQ ranking. Quite impressive considering he's been **** since May.
