What is it with sky fanboys always wanting to discuss sky GT line-ups all year long? Who cares about it.

Sure. But it's not like he was 20 or something. He was 24. And since then he's finished 14th, 16th and 28th.

Also you forget Wiggins (and Nieve).

Again, I'm not questioning Henao's ability or his potential. I'm just saying that Sky probably won't let him lead a GT next year, and based on his results, which have been less than stellar, it's understandable.

what does age matter. froome was 26 when he broke through. henao is only in his 2nd year in europe.

You can claim Henao had an off-year but he's still 22 in CQ ranking. Quite impressive considering he's been **** since May.

Sebastian Henao as well ( already showing his potential in European races )

Stannard was said to be on edge of going, with OPQS intrested, but it seems he'll stay.

That means Sky have 1 place left if they are going for a full 30 which I think they need after this year

Sponsorship news: team Gadret to merge with Movistar in 2014.

Dang far far too slow.
hmm - me thinks Movistar dropped Pinarello because Team Gadret is bringing the bikes...

More realistically, this doesn't really belong here, rather in the 'new kit' thread as Team Gadret advise of a radical redesign of the team uniform for next season.

Team Gadret remains the greatest and at this point longest sustained cycling news forum in-joke. It will be a sad day for us all when John finally retires.

(It remains a pity that The Great Bauke Mollema did actually develop into a very good rider)

Swift has a contract for next year with Sky.

One more year to prove me wrong. Otherwise replacing him and Sutton with one decent sprinter would be nice! Are any of the under 23 GB lot showing enough promise in the sprints?
