He won two sprint stages this year (one of them today in Tour de l'Eurométropole) and got a couple of top5 finishes in Vuelta. It's not like Garmin have much better options for sprints. Maybe Von Hoff, but they're pretty much about the same now IMO. The team will be no longer built around him for most important races, though. Vaughters admitted, that the goal for next year will be stage races (especially GTs) and hilly classics and he wants his GC riders to have a proper support, unlike it has been until now (therefore new signings of riders like Slagter, Acevedo, Cardoso, Gaimon and King). But Farrar still may find himself leading the team on occassion.
