Hmm, Andy and Frank at OPQS, interesting idea. I don't hate it. With Uran also wanting to focus on GC at the Tour maybe they would go for Giro-Vuelta, I would like that. Still hope Andy stays with Trek for the moment though.

I like the idea of samu at Movistar, he should have left the carrots long ago.

Yea, OPQS has no real GC rider and OPQS is known to hire failing GC riders, perfect fit ;) Closer to home as well, if the base of the team operations. I think they'll like the Lefévère DS style as well.

Latest from Beppe Conti:

-Andy seems to be getting out of his own problems (drinking?) and being back on track properly so many teams would be interested; he's said to be leaving his actual team and have a big offer from Omega Pharma with his brother
-Visconti got offered a contract from Omega Pharma as well, as from Cannondale
-Cancellara asked for Malori
-Ulissi confirmed to Lampre
-Samuel Sanchez rumored to have an offer for end his career with Movistar colors

Do you mean confirmed to stay at Lampre? They could really do with keeping hold of the likes of him and Malori.

I'm not sure how the Schleck's being on the same team as Cavendish would work at the Tour...

I would imagine it'll be the Schlecks or Uran not both.

Christina Watches-Onfone. He's not getting any younger.

Or on the other hand, with the podium of the Tour of Luxembourg, 2nd in the Tour de Suisse and a few other points from earlier in the 2012 season still counting towards UCI points totals, he'd be a good fit for Euskaltel. Good climber but not good enough to win the big ones, appallingly bad descender, crashes a lot, chronically bad time triallist... the more I think about it the more it makes sense!

Also, his name in Basque phonology should be "Xlek". How cool is that?
That's it. Really :D

So Andy wants to rebound at OPQS which is known to be the suck the strength out of every GC rider. He might as well take his career to a hospice then ;)

Forgot to add that according to Beppe Wiggins is set to decide about his future only after the Worlds.

If by some miracle he manages to beat Tony then it would be a good way to go out.

He's said himself he hates the racing so given that he's made for life £££ wise, he might as well call it a day.

Xlecks at OPQS? Not happening. Cav would go bananas having another GC rider on team for the TDF.

As per Samu, I cant even believe he was/is so dumb to stay on that team for so long. He will regret that one day ...

Who knows how much he is paid. And nothing wrong with a bit of loyalty and being Mr. Euskaltel post Laiseka's retirement.

Damn Vomistar buying up all Euskaltel best riders though

But then there would be 3 GC contenders in one team, and that would also take away from Cav's leadout. If the Schlecks go to OPQS I think it's possible they will have to target something else.

Radioshack have officially dumped Frank Schleck. Who wants him? Back to Saxo?

The new Trek team will offer him a contract I believe. Becca fired him mostly out of spite and out of general scumbagness. When Luca Guercilena was asked whether Trek would continue with Fränk he said "Yes, we want to keep all top riders" (no jokes please).

Plus Guercilena and Trek are on good terms with Andy and want to keep him, this is the way to do it. The relationship between Becca and the Schlecks has been beyond repair for a long time but with Trek I think they are fine

I hope your right on this one. Staying with Trek (or being able to stay with them in Franks case) would be the best move career-wise for them.

Even though it would probavly be good for Frank to do some good races this fall.

No races at all in 2013 only to know there will be a contract for 2014, actually I hope he has other plans.

Not sure where the idea of three GC contenders is coming from but Lefevere certainly believes in the pairing of GC and sprinting objectives. If they go for the Schlecks they will not be leaving them home in July and neither I doubt would Andy sign for a team without guaranteeing the tour.

Rigberto Uran, Frank Schleck, Andy Schleck; 3 GC contenders for the Tour.

I agree, If there is something that would stop Andy from signing with another team, it would be not being able to race the Tour.

That's Andy's biggest problem, find a strong team full behind him at TDF... outside Trek, impossible. And even at Trek he will have less support than before.

Brajkovic to Sky to replace Uran? Stranger things have happened. British team could help turn his career around...

I fail to see how it's strang ( as the twitter says )

He's perfect for them. Good TT, tempo climber etc. Plus last year he spent lots of time with Sky I remeber during the Tour on the flights etc. This one could happen.

Although not as replacement for Uran. Sky have lined up at least one new Colobmian ( likely too be 2 ) coming into the team, they will be likier to replace Uran in terms of similarites as rider and success..

Brajkovic if he would make the move, would be a domestqiue most of a time though, so I hope he could choose a better team, such as GreenEdge.
