Can't really see the logic of the move, unless they just fancy a bit of sun?

Orica are packed out with fast men and will probably give preference to young Aussies

Sky are fairly thin on the ground for fast men, and would probably give preference to young Brits

Fact is, they are not fast men i.e. sprinters at all.

Adam is a stage racer ( 2nd in GC Avenir and constantly best performer there in moutains bar the stage Fernandez took )

Simon has a good finish, yes, however he sees himself more of a punchy rider that can sprint, ala Gilbert.

They will likely only be signing two year contracts and it's not as if they would be leading Sky or any other world tour team in hilly races at this early point in their career anyway. It's far more about development for them at this stage. And if they've learnt anything about Sky it's that they don't develop 'punchy' riders very well at all so good luck to them if they're looking elsewhere.

Bah I'm glad he's out of Portugal for good unlike Ricardo Mestre who seems to be back to lead that great team called Efapel. I can only hope Machado, Oliveira and Pires can stay away too, even on Professional Teams. The portuguese scene has a really low level now.

Hunter hasn't been effective for a few years. Garmin made a mistake when signing him. Not a big loss.

got a nice contract before the Vuelta 11, when he was going for top 3 i am sure. Now he has to work for his money. Hopefully we can see Kash at a reasonable level again for a couple of years beforea retirement.
