That would be bull****, really. None of their riders is suited for stage racers. I don't expect Sanchez to go there anyway.

Samu should sign for Caja Rural. They will have a solid race program where he can be a factor until the end of his career.

+1. No way Samu is going to end his career doing 1 day races in Northern Europe.

Agree with Dazed and Confused I'd like to see him at Caja Rural - he could still get a good race program and target the Vuelta. Guess Txurruka might not be that impressed though!

don't think Samu's addition will hamper Txu's chances much. Samu is not the kind of rider who requires tons of support, appears to be pretty low "maintenance". Of course adding a rider means someone else must likely leave.

I was less think about Txurruka being forced into a support role more that his desire for being up the road on every other stage might not be compatible with Samu targeting a high GC.

Samu should retire and leave his amazing reputation untarnished personally. Going too long in a carrer, I want to remeber Samu for his best years, and not struggling to get a Top 10 on Vuelta stage in 2014.

If he still likes to do it, there is no "should". Legacy is unimportant if it makes the life of that person less pleasant.

Can't see the other GC teams wanting to allow a strong teammate of another GC contender up the road on mountain stages in case they try to bridge across.

That said that scenario is unlikely with the Vuelta's one-climb mountain stages

Argos stops as main sponsor of the Argos-Shimano team next year. A new main sponsor has been signed with a contract running until the end of 2016, the name of the sponsor will be announced in the coming weeks. Shimano will remain as a sponsor until at least 2014.

Any roumors about which company it could be yet?

After the Kittel successes in France a German sponsor would be logical. Or maybe Vredestein which have a office at Enschede!

All they have said about it further is that the sponsor isnt a bike manufacturer nor is the company dutch.

So Garikoitz Bravo (Euskaltel) has in fact joined Portuguese team, Efapel-Glassdrive, for next year: http://www.biciciclismo.com/cas/site/noticias-ficha.asp?id=66926

Only yesterday he said he would be joining the new Euskadi continental team but there are now major doubts about whether that project will go ahead, prompting his decision to join Efapel instead.

Well, that is one positive that suggests Efapel will still be around if they're signing riders. After all, they were easily the strongest team in Portugal this year, but they royally dropped the ball at the Volta, in-fighting from the word go, and big arguments afterwards, and then of their top names this year, Rui Sousa's gone to Boavista, Arkaitz Durán and Ricardo Vilela to OFM, Nuno Ribeiro rumoured there too and Hernâni Brôco's retired. Seems they're left with Brandão, Sérgio Sousa and whoever they can pick up, so in a way, if there's uncertainty about the Euskadi project, this isn't a bad move for Garikoitz. Maybe as a permanent fixture in the Portuguese péloton they'll work out which way round his name goes, since he won jerseys at A Volta before, being called "Bravo Garikoitz" all the way round.

Apparently Bravo (Euskaltel-Euskadi) is confirmed, just like team leader Ricardo Mestre (Euskaltel-Euskadi) and also Rafael Silva ( LA Aluminios – Antarte ) , Joni Brandão, Filipe Cardoso, Sérgio Sousa , Carlos Oyarzun (Louletano – Dunas Douradas) and João Pereira (Banco Bic-Carmin).

Quintana and Sutterlin are both neo-pro so why they dont have any slots left ? Should be at least 2

They have space left but they aren't signing any more riders. In 2013 Movistar only had 25 riders on its team for example.

Given the lack of a domestic calendar they don't really need a full squad. If they had more it would just mean more ****ty races in France to enter in order to share the race days.
