Belkin, Giant, Cannondale ..... it is really sad to see the teams suffers from such a instability.

I was there England these few days. It was huge. Money generated from the first stage to Harrogate were more than 100 000 000 pounds according to BBC. How this cannot attract the sponsors

Cycling desperately need some German sponsors. Probably Kittel´s wins can help a little.

If the rumors are true Vissmann might become the new main sponsor of NettApp. If Alonso is taking over, maybe Kittel and/or Degenkolb will end up at Vissmann.

Hopefully they gonna buy Silvio Herklotz out of contract from Stölting anyway!

Kenneth Vanbilsen and Michael Van Stayen (both riding for topsport vlaanderen) rumoured to be joining Cofidis next season according to the newspaper "het nieuwsblad"

Tom Van Asbroeck and Yves Lampaert will also leave the team, both joining a unknown protour-team.

I heard somewhere that the team manager of Topsport said that Tom Van Asbroeck and Kenneth Vanbilsen have "pre-contracts" with Lotto. Regardless, looks like Topsport, essentially a devo team to begin with, will be graduating some riders this offseason which is good to see.

germany is no cycling nation

Huh? Can you define cycling nation? China? India? I think there is more bikes on the roads than anywhere in Europe.

Either way, I'm sure Kittel, Greipel, Dagenkolb and Tony Martin and all the other Germans would disagree with your silly statement.

Cannondale corporate is in cost-cutting mode, so they are probably going to vanish. I never understood how they could afford a WT team.

Its still beyond me how so many different bike manufacturers can exist and also how many have spare money to throw at a cycling team.

there are 2 million bicycles in Bejing... :D - katie Melua song

Yeah all of them top of the range Canyons and Pinarellos

Its 9 million by the way. And the current version is "there's 15 million cars in Beijing/ That's a fact/ It's a thing we can't deny/ Like the fact that I'm not moving till I die".

Chinese people like quality ;)

I bet they're actually called Carbons and Picobellos in China :D While being, by sheer coincidence, exactly the same.

This is racism, I shouldn't do this.

Lots of brands but few manufacturers. Merida owns Specialized, Giant is Giant and sells lots of bikes to Trek. Cannondale and the rest buy from a couple of contractors. Those contractors are in Taiwan and China. They make excellent product that most of you are riding including some "Italian" brands.

The Chinese consumer market is in the very, very early stages, so yes, they will be riding many Pinarello bikes there soon enough.

It will be interesting to see if the UCI can fix losing at least two WT teams for 2015.

Yes, someone who isn't racist probably should not say racist things.
