Betancourt will get good results in any team but I understand that Ag2R wouldn't want to deal with such a wild card (if that's the case of course and not Betancourt wanting to leave).

Maybe back to an Italian team: Androni or Neri? Or Caja Rujal as a leader?

Although most likely Colombia will try to get him, obviously!

Betancur is top class,i hope he doesn't end at those crappy teams,a big team should snatch him if he's made available.Tinkoff has a crap team he should be the first to make the call.

His trainer Bartoli works for Lampre. That should be a match, certainly if they cannot use Ulissi soon.

So you wanna tell me that Lampre wasn't a more crappy team than Androni in the past?

Better payment aside there's no other reason I would choice Lampre above Savio if I want to focus on the Italian race calendar.

And yet, if the rumors are true, he's some sort of fired by Ag2r because of his behavior since the Vuelta! Wouldn't really give him the credit to get a WT offer for sure.

On top, if his nationalism really is so strong, Colombia would be a logical choice. They should give him a good financial offer and a decent team for support. Plus Betancur would increase their chances to get invites to the Ardennes classics, the Tour or at least the Vuelta dramatically.

Don't know what's so laughable about it? If he finds a team that gives him a familiar feel-good-factor he's no. 2 Colombian after Quintana for me. So it should be a realistic option for both sides

Is Contador staying at Saxo? Will be interesting how the ambitions of both will be reconciled.

Vanbilsen and Van Stayen alongside Bouhanni and Soupe. Cofidis builiding a strong and talented team. Time for them to go PT I guess.

With Senechal and Vanbilsen they got two most promising cobbled talents as well.

I don't see him leaving. Only possible team I could see him going to would be Alonso's. But that whole project has been up in the air whether it will or won't happen for a while now.

Luckily for Contador though, Sagan's not the type that needs a full leadout train and team committed entirely to him in most races. More of an opportunist sprinter since he can't beat the Cavs, Greipels, Kittels, etc. on flat finishes.

According to Dutch commentators, Boom has a verbal agreement with Sky

Is that only if the team doesn't continue? I'm pretty sure he has a contract with them for another year.

Sagan and Contador only have one goal conflicting and that is the Tour. Sagan isn't the kind of guy who needs a lot of support. If he had been in Tinkoff-Saxos roster this year i'm quite sure he would have had two wins already.
